She has loved girls' manga and magazines since elementary school, and in junior high school she read "Paradise kiss" (by Ai Yazawa) and aspired to become a fashion designer. In college, she majored in fashion design. After graduation, she worked as a designer for an apparel manufacturer in Tokyo.
Began creating illustrations in addition to her work. After leaving the company, she went to Portland, OR, USA to study language.After returning to Japan, she worked in graphic design and photography direction for an apparel manufacturer. Currently, she focuses on graphic design and illustration.
She creates colorful illustrations centering on dusty tones. She often depicts everyday life and women, and imagines vague, yet core figures with ambiguous whereabouts and emotions.

仕事の傍らイラストレーションの制作も始める。会社を退職し、アメリカ西海岸のポートランドへ語学留学。帰国後はアパレルメーカーなどでグラフィックデザインや撮影ディレクションに従事。現在はグラフィックデザインとイラストレーションを中心に活動している。
